Entrevista exclusiva a Marisol Otero

Hoy nuestro blog se viste de gala para recibir a nuestra querida y admirada Marisol Otero, nuestra primera Bella y actual Señora Potts.
En esta pequeña entrevista nos cuenta un poquito acerca de su experiencia en este musical que conquistó nuestros corazones y el suyo también.

BLOG BYB: Pasaron 12 años desde el final de La Bella y la Bestia en que fuiste protagonista... 12 años es mucho tiempo. ¿Pensaste que finalmente el capítulo se había cerrado y la obra ya no volvería? ¿Qué sentiste al saber que el telón se levantaría una vez más?

MARISOL OTERO: si , la verdad que si , es hermosos poder cerrarlo con otro personaje , realmente un regalo divino ... cuando lo supe me llene de emosion fue realmente una obra muy importante en mi carrera y le debo muchisimo ...

BLOG BYB: ¿Y en estos 12 años te descubriste cantando alguna de estas canciones? ¿Cuáles?

MARISOL OTERO: siii!!! exactamente la que canto ahora como pots , es la que mas cante ya que cuando me contrataban en un evento querian que cante esa , y esa misma cancion la cantamos a duo con juan rodo antes de ser bella y bestia en un evento a beneficio en ramos mejia , asi que tambien es una cancion que significa mucho para mi , poder cantarla hoy en el personaje que lo canta realmente es casi una consecuencia de haberla cantado tanto , jiji!

BLOG BYB: ¿Dudaste en volver a audicionar o ser parte nuevamente de la obra era un objetivo detrás del cual ibas a ir con el mismo entusiasmo de la primera vez?

MARISOL OTERO: no , nunca dude , no sabia bien que personaje podian darme , pero no tenia duda que queria estar aunque fuera arbol 2235!! jajaj!

BLOG BYB: ¿Qué sentiste el día que viste por primera vez a Magalí siendo a la Bella que un día fuiste vos? ¿Volviste a ponerte su ropa aunque sea un instante?

MARISOL OTERO: me emosiono muchisimo , ella hace una version de bella muy distinta a la mia , y eso me encanta , tiene una personalidad increible el personaje y mucho caracter , realmente me copa muchisimo su laburo y cuando la veo ademas de recordar mi pasado , me genera mucha admiracion ya que es un papel muuuy comprometido esta todo el tiempo arriba del escenario , actuando cantando llorando riendo gritando , y eso genera mucho desgaste , yo hacia muchisimas funciones semanales en aquel entonces y se el desgaste que es, mas alla de la belleza que significa , es bastante agotador yo vivia para eso solamente , hoy la senora pots me da mas respiro y hasta hago otras cosas como dar clases , en mi escuela y en casa paticulares y canto los jueves en el faena con una banda de jazz country , asi que me reparto bastante y esta buenisimo!

BLOG BYB: Tenés el honor de cantar el himno de esta obra y desde a platea se te ve brillar con tu voz y con el amor que traslucen tus ojos... ¿Qué pasa por tu cabeza en ese momento?

MARISOL OTERO: uuuf , de todo , primero me conecto con la escena , con esa union divina que es el amor , entre dos seres distintos , con eso escensial que ellos al fin pueden ver , con la ternura que me causa la torpeza de la bestia , con lo hermosa que esta la bella , con la nostalgia que me trae ese recuerdo , con lo que me pasa a mi ahora con el amor , todo ese coacktel de sensaciones se los presto a la senora pots , que es una mujer con un hijo , con la ilusion latente en ese amor que comienza , que sabe , le dara la libertad a ella y a su hijo de poder ser humanos otra vez ...

BLOG BYB: A pesar de ser muy jóven sos un poco la mamá de esta obra que también creció... ¿Cuáles son las diferencias que encontrás entre ambas puestas?

MARISOL OTERO: Creo que la escencia es la misma , todos actuamos desde el corazon , ese es el punto en comun , y las diferencias las marca cada uno de los interpretes que son distintos , salvo Rodo Vals , que tambien tiene el desafio de encontrar un personaje distinto dentro de su Maurice , ya que los directores fueron otros y sus viciones son diferentes

BLOG BYB: ¿Te hubiese gustado que este año la puesta fuese la que recorrió Europa o te alegraste al saber que sería esta primera versión?

MARISOL OTERO: me alegra que sea la misma version , ya que es mas clasica , y todo para mi , es mas artesanal que la otra vesion nueva que dan en Europa

BLOG BYB: La función es el momento en el que te consagrás cada día y el resultado de tus sueños y de tu preparación... ¿A quién quisieras encontrar en la primera fila viéndote brillar?

MARISOL OTERO: a mi papa , que seguramente me ve desde donde esta , era mi admirador numero uno y me llena de amor ...

BLOG BYB: ¿Cómo sigue tu carrera después de ByB? ¿Cuáles son tus proyectos?

MARISOL OTERO: vienen otras obras como la novicia rebelde , que me encantaria estar!!!! para esa obra quede seleccionada 2 veces en espana , y las dos veces se pincho , veremos si la tercera es la venciada , es la obra que mas me gusto desde muy chica , seria un sueno poder hacerla , veremos veremos , Dios dira! perro ademas , estoy con mi escuela que sigue creciendo y con la banda que estoy armando de boleros y flamencos clasicos , musica que amo , y con la banda de jazz country , que si Dios quiere sigue todo el ano en el faena !

BLOG BYB: ¿Hay alguien a quien quieras agradecer o dedicar tu actuación?

MARISOL OTERO: a mi familia a quien amo , a mis maestros que me guiaron , a la fundacion que me beco para estudiar , Bernardo Housay , sin ellos no hubiera poddo hacer lo que amo ....

Entrevista Exclusiva: Carlos Silveyra (Lumiere)

Carlos Silveyra interpreta a Lumiere en la nueva puesta de La Bella y la Bestia. En esta pequeña entrevista exclusiva para nuestro Blog nos cuenta acerca de las sensaciones que esta obra despierta en su vida personal y profesional.

BLOG BYB: ¿Ya habías audicionado en 1998 para este u otro papel?
CARLOS SILVEYRA: No, en ese momento estaba conduciendo Verebo tv, un programa para chicos que salía desde el Parque de la Costa.

BLOG BYB: Como público, qué despertaba esta obra como para 12 años después ir en busca del papel?
CARLOS SILVEYRA: Fui a ver esa puesta, porque Pablo Lizaso, amigo y compañero, el Lumiere de esa puesta, me había invitado al estreno…y cuando vi a Lumiere dije: ALGUN DIA QUISIERA HACER ESE PERSONAJE.

BLOG BYB: ¿Recordás cómo fue el día en que te informaron que eras Lumiere? ¿Qué pasó por tu cabeza cuando te quedaste a solas?
CARLOS SILVEYRA: Fue el dia mas ansiado del mes de octubre del 2009, salte como loco, llore, rei, pero sobre todas las cosas agradeci, a Pablo, porque me mostro el camino, y a todos los que hicieron posible este sueño. Y cuando quede a solas, pensé, en todos los momentos maravillosos que esta profesión nos ofrece.

BLOG BYB: ¿Qué crees que aporta este trabajo a tu carrera? ¿Y a tu vida personal?
CARLOS SILVEYRA: Para mi carrera es un desafío importantísimo y hasta el momento el rol mas lindo que tuve para desarrollar, y a mi vida personal le suma una experiencia única respecto del crecimiento y desarrollo como persona.

BLOG BYB: Ya pasó el estreno y las primeras semanas de funciones... ¿Cómo te ves en el personaje? ¿Sos crítico con vos mismo? ¿Sos el Lumiere que siendo público te gustaría ver?CARLOS SILVEYRA: Creo que ya pasò el nervio de las primeras funciones, estoy muy contento con lo que sucede en estas funciones post estreno, trato de ser crìtico conmigo, pero para eso esta Rocìo, y Hector y Gerardo, nuestros directores residentes que cuidan nuestro trabajo para que se vea siempre como el primer dìa, y sin dudas soy el Lumiere que como espectador me gustaría ver…

BLOG BYB: Cuando apoyas la cabeza en la almohada después de una función... ¿Qué sensaciones aparecen?
CARLOS SILVEYRA: Me queda el sonido del aplauso, único, y reconfirmo mi elección, siempre fue mi vocación y desde hace 23 años mi profesión…se que no me equivoque.

BLOG BYB: La función es el momento en el que te consagrás cada día y el resultado de tus sueños y de tu preparación... ¿A quién quisieras encontrar en la primera fila viéndote brillar?
CARLOS SILVEYRA: A mis maestros, a mis seres queridos, a mis compañeros que ya no están…

BLOG BYB: ¿Cómo sigue tu carrera después de ByB? ¿Cuáles son tus proyectos? ¿Sentís que esta obra es un trampolín para alguna aspiración personal?
CARLOS SILVEYRA: Mi carrera sigue su curso, tengo una escuela en Bahia Blanca. Otra en Gral Roca, y la de Bs As, mas clases en Neuquen y Sta fe…esto significa que hay que concentrarse mucho y dosificar la energía, ojalà Bella y Bestia sea un trampolín para otros roles…

BLOG BYB: ¿Hay alguien a quien quieras agradecer o dedicar tu actuación?
CARLOS SILVEYRA: Quiero agradecer a todas las personas que confiaron en mi para este rol, a todos los que hicieron posible que este sueño se haga realidad y le dedico mi actuación a Lorenzo, mi hijo.

BLOG BYB: Por último, un mensaje para la gente que cada día sigue el Blog de ByB.
CARLOS SILVEYRA: Que conserven ese espíritu, esa magia, y esa posibilidad de volver a creer en el amor.

the old woman's ugliness melted away

to reveal a beautiful Enchantress.
The Prince tried to apologize,

but it was too late,

for she had seen that there was no love in his heart.

And as punishment,she transformed him into a hideous beast,

and placed a powerful spell on the castle,and all who lived there.
Ashamed of his monstrous form,

the beast concealed himself inside his castle,

with a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world.
The Rose she had offered,was truly an enchanted rose.

Which would bloom for many years.

If he could learn to love another,

and earn her love in returnby the time the last petal fell,

then the spell would be broken.

If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time.
As the years passed,he fell into despair,

and lost all hope,for who could ever learn to love...a Beast?

Entre sus trabajos teatrales se cuentan, "Closer", "Confesiones de Mujeres de 30", "Hairspray", "Mueva la Patria" y "Por Amor al Maipo"; Protagonizó "Calígula", "Aquí no Podemos Hacerlo", "El Fantasma de Canterville", "El Ratón Pérez", "Drácula" y participó en "Las Mil y Una Noches", de Cibrián-Malher; Condujo "Jay Jay, el avioncito" (Discovery Kids). En televisión "Gasalla en Pantalla", "Susana Giménez", "Un Cortado" y "Afectos Especiales". Estrenará este año un espectáculo basado en la música de Astor Piazzola. Agradece a todos los que la han acompañado en este camino.

Elenco 2010: Tiki Lovera (Ropero)

Actriz, cantante, docente y escritora. Comenzó su carrera con "Yo, Teresa de Jesús", dirigida por Manuel González Gil. Trabajó en numerosas obras de texto, bajo la dirección de su maestro, Carlos de Urquiza, y luego en los musicales: "Drácula", "El Jorobado de París", "Las Mil y Una Noches", de Cibrián-Malher, "La Callas, una Mujer", de Taccagni/Goldman, "Jack, el Destripador", de Taccagni/Rodó, "Cabaret". Es autora de "Frankenstein", estrenada en 2003 en el Teatro Coliseo. Escribió y dirigió, por primera vez en el país, "Blancanieves y los Duendes" y "La Magia de Cenicienta" en lengua de señas, con actores sordos e hipoaúsicos y con la presencia en el escenario de las voces de los personajes.

Elenco 2010: Roger González (Lefou)

Sin duda, uno de los jóvenes artistas mexicanos más carismáticos y queridos en toda América latina. Roger dio sus primeros pasos en la actuación a los 11 años. A partir de ese momento, ha trabajado ininterrumpidamente en televisión, cine, teatro y radio. Actualmente, es una de las estrellas principales del Disney Channel y conductor del existoso programa Zapping Zone.

Elenco 2010: Marisol Otero (Sra. Potts)

Becada por la fundación Bernardo Houssay, realizó sus estudios de profesora de canto en el Conservatorio Nacional "Word", se preparó con maestros de primera línea. Fue "Bella", en la misma producción de la obra que se realizó en el teatro Ópera, en 1998. En el Palace Theatre de Broadway fue seleccionada, junto a tres "Bellas" de todo el mundo, en honor al 5º aniversario de la obra. Participó también como Sandy en "Grease"; como María en "Jesús de Nazareth" (versión Carlos Abregu); como Iodel en "El Violinista en el Tejado"; como Sor Amnesia en "Sorpresas", Miami, EE.UU.; como Wendy en "Peter Pan". "Un Mundo Mejor", su primer disco - con Cachorro López- fue difundido en México y Colombia. Fue seleccionada para cantar "Un Mundo Mejor", de su disco en la Jornada Mundial de la Juventud, con la presencia del Papa. Actualmente, abrió su propia escuela de Comedia Musical "Marisol Otero" y canta jazz preparando su nuevo material discográfico.

Elenco 2010: Ricardo Bangueses (Dindon)

Estudió teatro con Rubén Mandolfo y Luis Castellanelli; cantó, con S. Sirur y J. Rodó. Su primera obra fue en 1979, con Luis Castellanelli ("Médico a Palos"). A partir de ese momento, nunca más bajó de los escenarios. Entre sus obras más destacadas figuran "Giacomo" de A. Discépolo, "Un Marido Ideal", de O. Wilde, "Jesus Christ Superstar", de Andrew Lloyd Webber, "Hermanos de Sangre", de W. Russell. En 1991 es elegido para el elenco de "Drácula", de Cibrián-Malher, con quienes realizó también "David, el Rey", "Cleopatra" y "Las 1001 Noches" (versión primera). En 2009 fue seleccionado para integrar "El Fantasma de la Ópera". Entre sus trabajos como director figuran "Hombres de Escabeche", "Tango de Sangre y Vino", "4.48 Psicosis".

Elenco 2010: Carlos Silveyra (Lumiere)

Actor, cantante, bailarín, docente y director. Participó en las obras teatrales: "Aquí no Podemos Hacerlo", "Yo y mi chica", "Calle 42", "Broadway" I y II, "Molly Brownn", "Gypsi", "Salsa Criolla", "Suspiros de Monja", "El Violinista en el Tejado", "El Café Concert Contraataca". En teatro infantil: "La Flaca Escopeta", "Llegaron los Muvis", "El Mago de Oz", "Blancanieves". En televisión: "Canto Rodado", "Llegaron los Muvis", "La Noche de Estudio Abierto"; fue el conductor del programa infantil "Verebo TV", nominado al premio Martín Fierro. Desde 2002 dicta clases en su propia escuela y fundó las escuelas musicales de Gral. Roca y Bahía Blanca. También dicta clases y seminarios en Neuquén y Santa Fe.

Elenco 2010: Martín Ruíz (Bestia)

A los 21 años comenzó su carrera en musicales como "Aquí no Podemos Hacerlo" (su primer protagónico), "Calígula", "Aplausos", "Irupé La Bella Durmiente" y "Los Productores". Ingresó al elenco de "La Jaula de las Locas" (2008) donde compartió escenario junto a Miguel Ángel Rodríguez y Roberto Carnaghi como Lorenzo, el hijo del matrimonio gay, interpretado por estos. Ese mismo año estrenó "El Enganche", en el teatro El Piccolino; obra dirigida por Marcelo Moncarz, en el papel de Diego. En 2009 y, retornando al género musical, es convocado para llevar a Washington D.C. (EE.UU.) la obra "Momia en el Closet", donde interpretó el papel del Dr. Ara (embalsamador de Eva Perón). Entre sus maestros se encuentran Oscar Ruíz, MarceloVelazco Vidal, Martín Durañona y Vedia (canto), Maby Salerno (clown) y Julio Chávez (teatro).

Elenco 2010: Magalí Sánchez Alleno (Bella)

Cursó el profesorado de música y canto. Estudió piano y violonchelo. Le agradece profundamente a sus maestros de canto, Graciela Oddono, Juan Rodó e Irene Burt: danza, Claudio Alves, Manuel Vallejos, Alberto Agüero y Mónica Souto; actuación, Cristina Moreira, Cristina Banegas, Luis Agustoni y Ricardo Bangueses, entre otros. Trabajó en los musicales: "La Metamorfosis", "Jack el Destripador", "La Callas, una Mujer", "El Pájaro Azul", "Club Casino" y "Frankenstein". Obras teatrales: "El Duende" y "Las Variaciones Goldberg". Fue el primer reemplazo de Christine (rol protagónico) en el musical "El Fantasma de la Ópera".

Sinópsis

La Bella y la Bestia narra la historia de un príncipe arrogante y egoísta que vive en un magnífico castillo. Durante una noche de invierno, una anciana toca a su puerta en busca de abrigo y cobijo y le ofrece una hermosa rosa a cambio de su hospitalidad. Al ver que la mujer era vieja y fea, el príncipe le niega ayuda. En ese momento, la vieja se convierte en una joven y bella hechicera y, como castigo, convierte al príncipe en una espantosa bestia y a todos quienes viven en el castillo, en objetos encantados.

Para librarse del hechizo, el príncipe debe mostrar que es capaz de tener un buen corazón. Él debe aprender a amar y conseguir el amor de una mujer antes de que la rosa pierda su último pétalo. De lo contrario, permanecerá con el aspecto de una horrible bestia para siempre.

Esta historia tiene sus raíces en Grecia, la India y África. Surge de una fábula que fue narrada en varias culturas durante miles de años.

La Bella y la Bestia fue llevada al cine en 1991. El suceso fue inmediato, tanto, que la animación terminó siendo adaptada al teatro. El musical llegó a Broadway y fue igualmente aclamado por el público, en este increíble montaje que está nuevamente en Buenos Aires.
